HTSD hiring for Guest Substitute Teacher Program - Spring 2023

If you are thinking about a career in education, returning to the workforce, or looking to work with children — you can apply now for HTSD’s highly successful Guest Substitute Teacher Program. 

This program is a wonderful opportunity for adults with a college degree who, with training, can become day-to-day substitute teachers in Hampton. Please note that this program is for adults who are not certified Pennsylvania teachers but who would enjoy an opportunity to be a substitute teacher in the Hampton Schools. Guest Substitute Teachers will be paid $100 per day for the first 30 days of substitute work, and $120 per day for each day afterwards. Schedules are flexible.

An Information Session will take place January 12, 2023, at 7 p.m. in the Hampton Middle School Library. Additional details and information about the Guest Substitute Teacher Program will be provided at that time. A full day of training will take place on January 19, 2023, for select candidates from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
