HMS Stands with Ukraine

Hoping to aid Ukrainian refugees, Hampton Middle School launched a service project called “HMS Stands with Ukraine.” HMS students, faculty, and staff wore T-shirts displaying their support for Ukraine on Wednesday, April 20.
More than 350 T-shirts sold over the past month, and approximately $1,835 has been raised to support World Central Kitchen, a non-profit helping to serve millions of meals to families in Ukraine, Poland, Hungary, Moldova, and Romania. HMS thanks Hampton community member Paul Hanna who printed the “HMS Stand with Ukraine” T-shirts for cost.
Anyone who purchased a T-shirt or donated was eligible to complete a wall placard for the “Wall of Support” on display near the HMS lobby.
